The QOVPC is administered by an annually elected Board of Directors (“Board”). The Board’s election and decision-making processes are set out in QOVPC’s general by-laws.<\/p>\n\n
The Board generally meets virtually once a month, and its work is often completed electronically. All Board members therefore need to have access to a computer and an Internet network in order to participate in the monthly meetings and to be able to open, create, save, scan and\/or print documents. Computers and internet access are not provided or financed by the QOVPC.<\/p>\n\n
The Board’s working language is French. However, members also need a working knowledge of English to be able to respond to the needs of all QOVPC members across Quebec and the Ottawa Valley.<\/p>\n\n
All board members are volunteers. They must be screened according to the rules in effect and are required to sign a confidentiality agreement prior to any activity related to their position.<\/p>\n\n
